Lincoln Music Productions is located in the western suburbs of Chicago and services the “Chicagoland” area. We specialize in on-site, (remote or location) recording and offer post-production audio services to include, editing, mixing, mastering and CD prep. Our studio recording services include instrumental and vocal overdubs, 1-2 person at a time recordings as well as narration and podcast recordings and a variety of other audio services.
Ken started his professional recording career after graduating from The Institute of Audio Research in New York, NY in 1990. Soon after he began work as an assistant engineer in various recording studios and in and around New York City such as Unique Recording Studios, Kaufman Astoria Studios and Hip-Pocket Studios to name a few. He was hired by the SONY Classical label as a Digital Editor and Mastering Engineer where he worked on projects for a number of legendary classical recording artists until 1994 when SONY Classical merged studios with the SONY Music.
In 1994 Ken moved to the western suburbs of Chicago and soon after was hired as the Chief engineer at Woodside Avenue Music in Evanston, IL. At Woodside Avenue Music he had the pleasure of recording and arranging for some of the best musicians in the Chicago area. In 1998 Ken founded Lincoln Music Productions, which he has successfully owned and operated for the last 18 years.
In addition Lincoln Music Productions, Ken is also the Enlisted Bandleader and First Sergeant of the 85th Army Band in Arlington Heights, IL and an accomplished arranger. During his military career he has written hours of music for Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble and various other musical ensembles. His nearly 800 chamber music transcriptions and arrangements for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet and Woodwind Quintet are available at www.lincolnmusicpublications.com.

5. 50 CD units to sell
6. Additional CDs beyond the first 50 may be purchased at $3.50/per CD

Description: Location, On-site or Remote Recording simply means that we bring the recording studio to your venue. Location recording rates are dependent on a number of variables such as the concert or session length, travel distance, number of microphones or inputs required and a few other considerations. Generally speaking the range will be between $200.00-$400.00 again depending on the complexity of the concert recording or recording session.

Lincoln Music Productions offers in-studio recording on a smaller scale. We can record 1-2 musicians or vocalists at a time comfortably in our sound room. Instrumental/vocal overdubs and voiceovers are no problem as well as E-books, Podcasts and others. Additionally, importing or recording live MIDI tracks is also not a problem. We have all of the soft synths offered in Logic and Reason 6.5 with hundreds if not thousands of additional patches and samples.
